I had female employees come to me to complain about male co-workers and managers sexually harassing them, for something as simple as complimenting their attire. It got to where I had to warn male employees to not engage in any friendly personal conversations with female employees.
I was always in favor of equal treatment of women in the workplace, equal pay and consideration for promotion, etc. And I ended up working in high paying upper management jobs, but I didn’t get there by hating men and making up stories about them. Women like that aren’t doing the rest of us any favors. We need to get back to looking at people as individuals, not as a class.

It is crazy now & I am sooooo glad I don't work in the corporate environment anymore. I work for myself with another guy, who luckily has a depraved sense of humor like me.

I didn't think much of it at the time, but back in the late 1980's I worked for a large corporation, mostly make & our audit department was 95% male. The auditors were all pretty young, mid-20's and all single. One day, the only female auditor came in & was complaining that one of the executive of the company was on the elevator & was "looking" at her.

We would go out, traveling on audits for 3 weeks at a time. This girl would hang out & was basically "one of the guys" - not promiscuous, but would drink beer & join in what we were doing as a co-worker including raunchy jokes usually. She was just another worker & we treated her as such.

My point is, and it is only MY opinion, a lot of times it depends on whether the "harasser" is attractive or not.

women need to be educated to NOT be prima dosas who will do these sort of things. Annoys me to no end.

If I was owner or manager I would get rid of them. period. This type of snotty behavior(complaining of harassment when a guy just is mildly chatting - hey yes maybe mildly flirting) will carry over in other areas.

Hey look at me.. makes the workplace a hostile environment

hate it
