I would refuse to have Kavanaugh testify first. See if she shows on Monday. If not, cancel the hearings and schedule the vote for Monday. Or Friday afternoon.LOL.
evidently (wikipedia) the confrontation clause of the 6th amendment has roots in english common law. our country’s roots in english common law need to be highlighted and the Kavanaugh hearing is an excellent opportunity to do so. The Democrats are with Ford’s outrageous conditions voiding the 6th Amendment and our country’s roots in english common law. If this is allowed, imho it is a slippery slope back to the dark ages or worse. IMHO one really has to be evil to give Ford’s conditions any consideration at all.
