BigLeaguePolitics broke the story that Top Moderators from Reddit revealed that it was an organized cabal of left-wing posters who organized the take down of /r/The_GreatAwakening on Reddit. A CBS employee, using a group of lefties, including “More than 30 covert left-wing actors have been identified coordinating with the plotters, including activists linked to Media Matters and the ACLU,” who call themselves “BanOut2018, pretending to be Trump supporters posted inflammatory commentary in the Q forums which would instantly be given comparatively large numbers of up-votes by their organized cronies. These high positive responses to violent and harassing comments, which violate the rules of Reddit, naturally bring the moderators attention to the SubReddit. Enough of them, too frequently posted, result in the banning of the entire topic, regardless of the negative response from the regular users complaints and request the interloping trolls cease posting.
