t seems that every other day, a Bridezilla meltdown goes viral. Last month, a bride vented on Facebook after her guests declined a $1500 donation towards her special day.
And today, another bride has some warped expectations about her wedding.
In a viral Facebook post posted to Reddit, a bride has completely slammed her guests for not RSVPing to her $2000 destination wedding in Hawaii. She began by admitting that a $3000 wedding in Thailand might have been too much. But that a $2000 Hawaii destination wedding is within everyones reach. Except, erm
Its not.

The Ex wife and I paid for it all, We had a blast!

We had Chicken and Beef dinners And open bar
Not very romantical LOL
That is a really cool idea! Nice. It’s a shame you won’t be there to enjoy the festivities, though.
I was a Wedding Coordinator in Hawaii at a five-star resort. Unless the couple was from big oil money or Hollywood money, the weddings were extremely small. Sometimes just the couple. Sometimes parents and/or two witnesses.
It is VERY expensive to attend a wedding there. No matter how much you think it’ll cost, it’s twice that much.
I wonder who the 0.1% is. Besides Popeye the Sailor Man.
Theme weddings do not seem to focus on actual wedding vows. Why not just throw a great party/reception, and keep the wedding dignified?
If people had fun, that’s as romantic as it needed to be. Why not make things easy for your guests?
Brazil is not a first world country. But the bride has a first world problem.
“ModelBreaker”??
I hope you are never nominated to SCOTUS. All those broken models would come out of the woodwork with accusations of improper conduct.
Because, well, she DESERVES it!
I find funerals better than weddings today, as long as the old salt don’t want us to pay for it.
Cremate me and sprinkle my ashes in the tomater patch, So yall can eat me regularly! LOL
Take the saving and throw a wake!
Tell storys, spin yarns, smile.... If you don’t I WILL haunt you :)
PW.
It's hard to judge from pictures, but it rarely looks like the P is anywhere near worth the W.
NOW we're talkin' ...
I want a simple, church funeral. Then I want my family to have a great big party, with lots of seafood and belly dancers. I’m leaving the money for it in my will, and my oldest daughter already knows she has to arrange it.
In my extended family, it’s become customary have a very basic, nuclear-family, funeral when someone dies. Later, at a time and place convenient for the largest number, there’s a blowout “celebration of life” party.
I was responding to:
Where's the groom in all of this?
Amen.
Yer a old romantic, LOL
It would be nice if they had lumpia, but I’m only casually acquainted with some of the Filipino women in my church, while I’m close friends with a lot of the Mexican women. So, tamales. I don’t care for tamales, but I’ll be dead.
Not a fan of tamales myself.
I appreciate the work that goes into them.
My friends wife makes them with raisins and pork...
I believe after all yhis blew up, the wedding was off and they called it quits.
