Liberals are no longer allowed to be happy and funny. Laughing is allowed but only if it is at the expense of a political opponent.
There is something to this. Look at all the lib celebrities who actually were funny and entertaining at one time and are now miserable wrecks focused only on politics.

spending many thousands of dollars on psychotherapists, gurus, and the like.
