If more than 20,000 women a year died from illegal abortions for more than 10 years almost every American would know at least one woman who died from an illegal abortion. I don’t know of one.
Even by Feinstein’s numbers, it’s nothing compared to 60,000,000 dead babies.
Imagine, just for ONE MINUTE, that this had been Trump drastically mis-quoting a statistic about, say, crimes committed by illegals....
What sort of reaction could we have expected from the MSM?

Before Roe v. wade, birth control was not so widely available. Today, with rape as the exception, there is virtually no reason for an unwanted pregnancy.
A Non-Argument. People die from murder, drugs, and during robberies... That doesn’t mean we should make those legal.

There were about 1.2 million abortions per year before Roe, which means about 600,000 females died in illegal abortion procedures each year. 600,000 males also died.
