I saw clips too and ditto on looking and sounding DESPARATE.
I am thinking desperate is the thing here - it’s been narcissistic, like, “you still love me, don’t you? how could you let this happen?”
This Disneyland story was also curious - I now think it was real and something he never disclosed before; what he describes is/was commonplace at the time i.e. went to Disneyland to see Kool & the Gang. As I recall they played there for my high school graduation (he said he was going to Occidental College at the time). So ... why now? He went off script and the MSM is now using as human interest angle to re-introduce Hussein to the broader populace. Right as the BOOM is dropping. That might work. Most most likely not ;)
