Contrary to certain non-Q assertions, there has been no increase in the population of Gitmo since the start of the Trump administration.

I’m not saying there was an increase, as I have no freaking clue, but is it not within the realm of possibility that the mil could not tell the public about the number of inmates at Gitmo?
