I know what you mean. Recently one of our elderly Christian friends stated quite emphatically that he would not vote for Gaetz because he was “in Donald Trump’s pocket”! Even when my husband tried to set him straight, he just stared back at him in disbelief.
Indeed, the Left is VERY effective and thus dangerous.
