Officially it has been pushed back to the day after Labor Day.
And while it may seem annoying, Gov. Ducey is a by-the-numbers quiet behind the scenes kind of governor. No mess, no fuss, and things get done.
Right now, he has had months to prepare and select. However, since McCain died, he has likely been getting a deluge of arm twisting from every scoundrel in the US and abroad.
It can be assumed that whoever he chooses, the massed villains will go after him with the smearing intensity of Mueller. Big money campaigns to challenge him in the next election. Personal attacks against him and his family, etc.
For this brief moment, he holds the rest of the US senate and much of President Trump’s agenda in the palm of his hand, for the rest of this senate term.
Yes, I do not envy him one bit.
So please grant him some grace this time.
Ducey would be very stupid to appoint McTraitor’s wife to the seat after Megan and the rest of the deep state a-holes used his funeral to trash Trump.
