Agreed. Supposedly, if the “hidden” pardons (can) exist, they would absolve named parties of all federal crimes committed prior to the date of the pardon, which I think was Jan 17, 2017. But it would not cover federal crimes committed since that date, which may be yet more reason they have been allowed to roam around, incriminating themselves. Really, these people have such a mosaic of crimes I don’t know how many courts could summon them.

This is another reason it’s “taking so long”. Imagine investigating a case where with ever rock you turn over another dozen felonies fall out. It keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
