Hmmmmmmmmm. Given all the attempts to do him in . . . security must be a nightmare at such events. I think he needs to avoid venues that his limo can’t drive into a closed area before he exits it. Then with all the crowd scanned, would minimize the risk, I’d think.

*blu is startled, and takes her head out of the hood of the car she’s working on and looks around and sees the food that has appeared. She grins real big and says:*

After the rally, FReeQs are treated once more to the Led Zeppelin. Helpful hands assist texokie cart the left overs back to the Qanteen Qitchen. Some of the empty area in the garage has become a dance floor for those who are not too full from the feast. Someone frequently checks a phone or laptop to see if the Q flurry continues.*
POTUS rally was another barn burner. There were a few new threads that I noticed.
1. He did a fantastic job of comparing and contrasting what Republicans stand for vs Democrats. On that list was the statement that Republicans stand for strengthening Medicare, Medicare and Social Security. Democrats want to raid those programs to support socialism. Good for him! It’s about time Republicans got ahead of the tired ‘push Grandma off the cliff’ meme. Perhaps it is an opening salvo in bringing much needed reform to these programs in order to keep them viable.
2. For the first time he brought up prisoners when discussing job creation. As the pool of unemployed shrinks employers are starting to hire prisoners, giving them a second or third chance. This dovetails nicely with the administrations prison reform efforts as a job will help cut the recidivism rate.
All in all a great night for POTUS!

Yes, please don’t go. You are the sanity here, your posts are gratefully read by many who glean more from them than the rest. Your analysis is necessary.
No Internet...no ATM, no credit cards, no weather reports, inhibited transport of goods (to Walmart), inventory disruption, power generation and transmission disruption, bad/no traffic lights, no [a lot of stuff we’re used to]. We’d adjust eventually, but there would be casualties.
Didn’t German civilians say that too?
