I know this is stretch, but at the time I wondered if it was to destroy Sarah. Lots of us knew about her for a few years and knew she was an up and coming political star. I cried at her VP announcement speech.
SHE brought renewed energy and excitement to the GOP - I only voted because of her. Lots of us, and a lot of people knew that. The GOPe knew that.
So McLame handed the WH over to Saint Bathhouse Shitstain of Man Country, and Sarah was ridiculed, thrown under the bus, and made a target of derision.
But WE still loved her. She was the Trump of that time.
Then she resigned as Guv, and I didn’t understand that one. VERY bad advice or blackmail? She was toast. They killed her.

Can’t say I’m surprised. I knew as soon as McCain’s death was reported on the news that the DC swamp rats would use his death to bash President Trump. Such classy people.
Yes, when someone has a terminal illness of just about any kind, they start to “actively die” a few days to a few weeks before they actually die. They stop eating, drinking, often they can’t swallow, they stop speaking, blood starts pooling in their back and back of legs, and they are usually in a natural or morphine-induced coma.
I’m sure McCain was actively dying for several weeks, that’s why his nasty and almost daily anti-Trump rants finally stopped.

John McCain in his funeral arrangement choose to not forgive and to go down in history as a bitter dying old man. Maybe it was the brain cancer or the advisers around him, we will not know.
