News-Weak, so not very well written. Impeachment happens with a simple majority in the House, conviction and removal with 2/3 in the Senate.

. Of course McCain is dead, Flake is not coming back, and several others mentioned may or may not be in the next Congress, so this nose count isn't that accurate. But, it does still show you who they think are on their side. I have my doubts about several called out in here, particularly Rand Paul. I don't think he would vote to convict on minor or bogus charges.

Trump has them all lined up and knows each one and what he has on them, hence the number of them that are not returning. Note that in one of his more recent posts he says “No Deals”, that time has passed and for the really deep ones they will be arrested for treason
