I agree that it is a very good post. My only disagreement is with this statement:

“But first, yes, 31 days not 30. Q erred it seems. Q has erred with minor typos before, no big deal”

I read elsewhere that the 30 days is indeed correct because the clock starts the next day (after conviction) and not the day of. Apparently those are the rules. That would make the statement by Q of “30” exactly correct.
