I increasingly believe that regardless of the government dept etc., EVERY significant component of the government must have a citizen's group of average citizens well vetted ahead of time for sanity, logical thinking, humility, honesty etc. who would serve for 4-10 years and monitor, review whatever governmental org they were responsible for--every bit of it from money to personnel to effectiveness etc.

And their findings would be taken as law--requiring serious change whenever they dictated it fitting.

Such a supervisory committee/jury could NOT gain power long term. They should be well paid but severely sentenced if the least bit of corruption was discovered. etc. etc.

Enough of this elite mentality. The 'common man' full of horse sense, blood, sweat, tears & honest values has seen through oceans full of governmental nonsense for eons. Give them a supervisory voice monitoring and continually batting government into proper doings. Worth a try, I think.

What you are suggesting is an ISO9000 style government with auditing by citizens
