Seriously doubt that. He was a Keating 5 crook and a well known republican backstabber, and was re-elected over and over like a Kennedy. Ya’ll also voted for Jeff Flake, so it’s either real easy to fool an AZ voter, or I stand behind my moron comment. They may loose re-election, but what the hell are you going to replace it with. Personally I think ya’ll like Maine, vote for republicans as long as they are democraps.

We have A LOT of dumb@ss senior citizens who retired in Arizona and think that McCain could do no wrong because he was a Viet Nam POW. McCain always exploited his POW status when he was up for re-election.

Even with a large Mormon population in Arizona, Flake chose not to run for re-election because he knew he would lose big time. He has less than an 18 percent approval rating.

Kiss my butt! Independents can vote in the Republican primary, and there are as many of them as there are Republicans in AZ. Further, McCain has ALWAYS had a ton of money available. He bought his first election and has been able to buy his primary election again and again. He can outspend his primary opponent 10:1 even if you don't include the free press he gets from the media.

REPUBLICANS in AZ haven't liked him, but beating him in a primary is tough. Add to it difficulty getting a good opponent. Why? Because anyone who runs against him will face unending hatred from his political machine. Yet in 2016, he got 51.7% of the primary vote. In 2010, he got 56% of the primary vote. Not good showings for a guy who ran for President in 2008!

As for Flake, he ran as a conservative and, as a representative, he HAD a conservative record. In fact, Flake has a lifetime rating from the ACU of 93%! 92% in 2017. He hates Trump, but he votes pretty conservative. Much more so than McSally will if she gets in!
