The spreadsheets are probably intended to tease out whether the number of indictments are total for the year thus far and therefore include (mostly) unsealed indictments - that was a concern earlier when that table of sealed indictments showed up. So it answers questions for those who wondered whether the big number of indictments were past-tense (Old news) but no, approx. 90% remain unsealed.

The summary report doesn't include any information on the status of cases, only the condition of an indictment when it was filed. That number will always increase, numbers are added only, never reduced in any way (in this report). The report is cumulative total of indictments that were sealed when they were filed.
