Francis impresses me as one of those who think they are the end all and be all, and certainly above the law. Not only am I disappointed with the way he has handled the abuse scandal, I'm just plain pissed that he's never said “Yep, you're right. We screwed up and I will personally pull all suspected priests and let the legal authorities punish however they see fit.”

His defenders will still try to demonize Vigano, JPII, and Benedict by saying it was all THEIR fault, but I think the letter is too damning and no one will accept their BS.
