Read through the thread you posted, noted contents and thought myself a tiny little thought:
MSM's styled this as a "statement to DJT" but as a public statement can be read by anyone.
And if some of those "anyone" happens to be a DOJ employee and Sessions is making such a big deal out of a restatement of policy, I'd contend that a careful study between the lines would include a subtle reminder to those participating in the Special Counsel adventures.
"Hey, y'all. That 60 day limit is still in effect. You've got just over two weeks to poop or get off the pot."
