17 dogs rescued, 11 dog skulls found at Mulga fighting ring
As deputies headed into the woods, they were met by a juvenile carrying an injured dog. Once at location of the dog fight, Christian said, deputies found 17 pit bulls, four of which had injuries consistent with dog fighting. There was a ring with fresh blood inside, he said. Investigators also recovered 11 dog skulls so far. A 42-year-old was taken into custody, Christian said. He is being held in the county jail pending formal charges. His name will be released when warrants are obtained.

Stop with the pit bulls-as-victims crap, Countless mauling victims and families of deceased mauling victims are not impressed by stats that show pit bulls are used for fighting of course they tend to show up in dogfighting rings because thats what they were bred for, and the kind of people that own them know they are the most competitive, tenacious fighters, These low-life humans tend to take sadistic pleasure in animals suffering, and in watching their animals inflict suffering on other dogs, and far too often on people too.
