I should have read further - it’s a probably a white hat warning as it comes from someone “returning to the NSA” from prior assignment.

Well, it’s unclear whether this “warning” (today) about Russian malware on residential wi-fi routers comes from the DOJ or the NSA, but here ‘tis.

Geez if the technology exists, we would have already used it via the NSA to gather all the information on regular citizens.
