When I was growing up in small town USA. Our men handled stuff like this. Several times there were problems.
One night mama and I came home after work, in the car mama started talking to me and laughing saying to me up there next to the house a Mr So an so is hidding behind the bushes, but we are not going to pay attention to him, we are just going to hurry inside the house, you go first and I will be right behind you, we rushed in no problem mama got on the phone know on the door, we just need to lay eyes on you are y’all ok. And it won’t happen again. They did not kill him but he and his wife lead a very quiet life...I am not even sure his wife knew. At one point someone said we need to call chief of police, who was my uncle, don’t call the chief the less he knows the better.
I had a charmed childhood, growing up south of Atlanta.
We had a peeper in my neighborhood when I was small. The men of the neighborhood would walk around and look for him. Don’t know if they found him. A man invited me and my brother into his house “to watch a movie” when I was very small and we went. Then my dad showed up furious and snatched us out of there. That was probably the perv. Don’t know what happened to him too small.
