It didn't sound scripted to me but rather matter-of-fact ... like the guy is a total pro with lots of experience flying and doing all kinds of mission-impossible type ops and even in the height of the moment he's doing "Q" and other kinds of maneuvers, the increasing absurdity that this was something he pulled off from his video game experience ... and the reference to saving people's lives, I think he's a white hat and (certainly) jumped out at last minute ... but all the rest is uncertain.

Does any of it sound scripted?

I can't say a lot about the tower, but the "hijacker" doesn't sound right for the part he's playing. He is not despondent, he doesn't seem like he just wants to end it. He seems more like he's playing with them. HE seems scripted.

I will listen to more in a bit. I've gotten caught up in a movie, and the Wolverines are about to take down some Russian invaders. Yeah, I know, not reality, but it's still cool.

Rich doesn't sound scripted, he sounds elated. Male tower guy sounds tentative. Fighter pilots sound crisp and professional. Female tower sounds just like she should after she realizes she's talking to real Air Force fighter jet pilots and they sound hot!.

So no, I don't think any sounded scripted.
