I like this theory, would the location of the island allow for the Skunk Bay weather geek pic? I do not know the area.
I don’t know the area either. Seriously, I post stuff that the big thinkers on this thread can use. I can’t figure it out and they seem to do a really good job.
Based on a quick check, no, it would not.
Ketron Island, Washington is well south of Seattle.
Whidby base is well north of Seattle.
Ketron is the small/tiny island just to the left of the "L" in Lakewood, near the bottom of this map. South of Tacoma.

Here is the picture (with a 20-second exposure) at 3:56 AM Sunday morning from one of his cameras (looking north towards Whidbey Island). Can you see the bright vertical streak on the left side of the figure?
