I didn’t think that would happen given that Judge Ellis seemed pretty antagonistic to the prosecutors and I was thinking they would request the mistrial based on the Jury instructions and Judge Ellis’ comments they were complaining about.

That’s a jury instruction that is given in every trial, at least in California.

THey’re also angling for grounds for appeal if it goes wrong. My worry is that the Judge is just being antagonistic to make it look good and is going to cuck at the end.
