NFL players resumed protesting during the national anthem on Thursday night as the majority of teams played their first preseason games.
In total 15 players from five teams including the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens chose to make a statement during the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner.
Two players knelt, three raised their fists, eight either walked from the field or stayed in the locker room, one placed his arm on a protesting teammate's shoulder and another stood with his back to the field as a statement against inequality.

OK then. Another Fall with Sunday afternoons cleared for whatever else.
Going to re-skin the work shed I think.
I love to watch stupidity in action.
How has that kneeling worked out for them so far?
This year will be worse because people will not have the tickets bought before the protesting started.
‘...a statement against inequality...’
What exactly is equal in this life?
FOX this morning said they’re trying to resolve the ruling. Easy, just fire anyone who doesn’t stand.
Take a knee,
Raise a Fist,
Change Your Diaper
And Suck on This!
They made a statement alright. Their statement is “I’m an idiot.”
Football is entertainment. There are other forms of entertainment not resented for taking a knee.
This nonsense is built on the #BLM movement, which is in turn built on the lie of “Hands up, don’t shoot”, the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, MO, which was richly deserved. And cops don’t shoot blacks out of proportion to their criminal acts, and it is the black community that is hurt the most when police stop policing because of #BLM-related pressure.
For good writing on the subject seek out Heather Mac Donald. Here is a series of articles she wrote for The Volokh Conspiracy.

Trade the boycotting players to Canada.
I was a football addict for over 60 years but I gave up on the NFL when they backed and/or allowed these protests, mostly fueled by false narratives, against our country. I would strongly suggest that these protesters go to another country and stay long enough to realize how blessed America is. The more I travel, the more I realize how much we take for granted that people in other countries are literally dying for. I am further angered by the media which has chosen to make an issue of these protests and send the message that America is broken. If the media chooses to participate, let’s see them produce a documentary backed by objective data and let the public make an educated choice.
Note to NCAAF players: Guys, better get a real degree. Yer gonna need it.
So much for the NFL.
If they’d come back and refrained from hating on me and my beloved country they had a chance for me to view again sometime.
oh well
Unconstitutional race based AA, quotas, multi-$T in transfer
payments and still Whitey / Law abiding Americans / Cinservatives
have to get a kick in the nuts.
I love it when overpaid muscle heads blow up their source of income like suicide bombers. Look for NFL TV ratings and ticket sales to take another big tumble. In another couple of years, the value of their contracts are going to start coming down. That is when they are going to start screaming this is racist. Wont do them any good though.
On another front, expect President Trump to make an issue of it in his campaign stops, and use this to motivate his base to turn out in November.
What is supposed to be equal is the opportunity to work towards your goals.
So is it alright now for whites to give the OK sign? Or is that still considered racist? And if so, why isn't the black power salute racist?
Was there football on last night? Who knew?
