"See how good we are? We broke up this evil compound!" FBI is known to encourage half-brains to do bad things, so the FBI could make a public show of doing good.

Look for the video of the Iman father of the kidnapper from New Mexico. He tried to paint his son as questionable but without verbally disavowing him. Funny and also infuriating.
