I am FB friends with Matt Abbott (profile), a Catholic journalist who writes most regularly for Alan Keyes' Renew America. He has been prolific over the years on the subject of (homo)sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. He posted this:
To which I responded "Criminal homosexuals should stick together. They got each other's backs."
Facecrook's algorithm must be very quick these days, because in less than 5 minutes, I got these concurrent responses from FB:
When I signed up with Facebook, it was a an open forum where anyone could discuss their beliefs--their politics, articles etc. as long as it wasn't illegal or dangerous. Under that pretense, I opened a business page and used the apps and features THEY continually lobbied me to utilize, like Messenger and many other apps.
NOT A WHINE; A warning: Do not open business pages on Facebook or use any of their in-house apps. I cannot access mine, do any updates or respond to clients/customers who reach out. Don't use messenger - my wife and I lazily have been using messenger for texting. Can't get with her until we get back into SMS texting. Same with a many of my other people.
I'm also FB friends with author Matt Bracken (our Travis Mcgee), who I will ping here. He is literally being pursued by the management of FB... over nothing. The guy can barely say what he wants anymore, I expect him to be perm banned at any time.

I deleted my Facebook account.
I tried to remove my Itunes/Apple account, including calling them. (run around from a “dot” Indian).
So, I uninstalled Itunes and then removed EVERY Apple/Itunes file on my computer.
They won’t notice or care, but I feel better.
The amazing thing is that these companies don’t comprehend how tenuous their entire existence is. Customer loyalty is near zero, and when they finally fall out of favor their worth will plummet in months if not days. Ever see someone with a Facebook T shirt or bumper sticker?
In the world, but not of the world.
Using Facebook for Christian things is tricky. It can be done. I’ve done it. I even very recently saw at least one person apparently coming to the Lord. That strikes me with awe.
Anyhow, is this banning forever, or just a month or so? I think a super hot button was hit by the graphic in question. It is shameful that this is happening in a Christian church organization. This thing is tearing up people who want to be faithful to the church of their birth (in many cases). But in one case I recently heard, a person has asked how he can in good conscience raise his children in that church. It seems to be nodding and winking to the point of disgust. Such sins happen in other Christian denominations too, but usually those denominations aren’t big enough to hide problems by shuffling them around and covering them with bureaucratic paperwork. The old mourners’ bench ought to come back, with even priests being able to confess and repent their sins before the church, begging forgiveness and the grace of Jesus Christ.
Most people on here and in real life know me as an extreme anarcho-capitalist. Basically law-of-the-jungle Mises type.
However what's lost on the laissez faire types is that the PUBLIC TRUST has been historically conceptualized by the West - a good and entirely necessary construct of law.
We all love our free country, but you won't HAVE a country at all if you let it's systems to get hijacked by factions in banking, business, rail road media etc.
Seems EVERY conservative should quit Facebook. Glad I didn’t start!
Given there is a legitimate, full-blown schism within the Catholic Church right now, and you really cannot discuss it on FB, it follows that most religious discussion will not meet their community standards on the grounds they are divisive.
Pedophilia and sexual abuse are a massive problem in the Catholic Church at the moment. However, its a problem in many Christian churches period.
Who knows what’s coming, except that it will be like a thief in the night.
Facebook is headquartered near San Francisco. It is certain that the staff who set their “community standards” and go after violators will be especially incensed at anything negative towards gays.
And not all of that can be policed by government. A people that lets God police it (on a level of being willing believers) works better.
Adam Smith identified this threat in his "Wealth of Nations".
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices.

You excerpted your vanity?
It started as innocent social media. The left soon saw the opportunity to use it to suppress their enemies and force acceptance of leftist dogma.
All other social media followed along.
So, there is no freedom of speech unless you hate Whitey and want to eliminate him.
Well... and then there’s the “gay” issue. Which gets another bunch of hot buttons pushed.
I’ve been worshiping a long time as a Crazy Evangelical. A Christ-shell Baptist as it were, most of the time, with sojourns into the Wesleyan community from time to time. I have a C. S. Lewis like view of “mere Christianity” and believe that when the churches as a group believe in the trans-denominational work of Christ well enough to pray that Satan be denied to eat their lunches, then we will see visible results of prevailing against the gates of hell. But if we who care about believing in Christ are lackadaisical about God, most certainly Satan will eat our lunches.
This shutting out conservatives is an act of political war. And as such the Administration needs to intervene before we lose our country.

EXACTLY!
You only got a three day suspension?
Shit, dawg, yer a piker.
Join Travis and me and become part of the 30-Day-Club.
lmao....I did.
It’s a challenge, but the problem of a badly biased media is nothing new.
We need, if possible, something like a Conservabook.
Is that it?
You did better? Do tell! It will give me a target duration to aim for!
But isn’t it funny that it might not be secular people at all, but enemies in the Christian organization, that are the reason for this problem. Facebook itself, a secular organization, might be fairly innocent here, believe it or not. They don’t dig these problems. “Bunch of squabbling Catholics” might be how they see it. And deal out slaps on the wrist for the brouhaha.
Well, what happens when a faction walks out of a big established church hierarchy that has a lot of resources? The “gay” faction won’t seize the Vatican, that’s virtually sure. But they may seize individual congregations. Maybe something like “Rainbow Catholics” may appear, God forbid it does, but it could.
