I’ve been introducing classic movies to my 12 year old grandson. Last year I showed him Some Like it Hot, and about halfway through he says “granny, she’s more pretty than any other actress. True story.
For sheer looks Marilyn certainly was up there. I personally thought Tuesday Weld but she never achieved the fame.
A lot of the stars of the last 30 years have been attractive but they must be making it on their acting ability as thy are pretty but not Marilyn pretty. Maybe one exception is that slightly Spanish looking actress with blonde hair who seems to be in water and boat pictures a lot. Have a mental block.
