***** wonder, how many sitting judges have forgotten the law they studied and now rely solely on their personal sense of entitlement?******

Way too many I fear, it’s going to take a LONG time to fix the judiciary. It was heartening to see that nearly all of C Thomas’ clerks have found a place in the Trump administration either as judges or appointees.

More than 20 years ago I had the privilege of having dinner with Justice Thomas and a small group of young lawyers shortly after he was elevated to SCOTUS. It was an amazing experience. I found Justice Thomas to be witty and very kind. And very funny. The man filled the room. I’ll never forget it. I read every one of his opinions with telish. He is a giant who history will treat well.
