Some facts on the backstory.
First, I can’t argue that Bezo’s team have done a stellar job in dominating the software retailer space. Same for Zuckerberg at FB for weaving individuals and groups together on social media.
It’s not what they do and how successful they might be, it’s who is behind them and it’s a question of whether there is fair competition in the commercial enterprise spaces in which they operate.
Here’s some pertinent detail:
Bezos was struggling with Amazon from 1994. But he wasn’t really struggling as he was backed both directly and by contacts with Wall St’s D.E. Shaw & Company where Bezo’s got a dose of investment banking.
D.E. Shaw is David Elliot Shaw, an above average science researcher and math/computer fellow, Ph.D. Stanford, who took a faculty appointment at Columbia. From there he caught the Wall St. bug and went full hedge fund manager.
So he sold his soul to Wall St. and later became a big donor to Hillary Rotten.
Bezos was not so scientifically endowed, more a twirp than a force of technology.
But Bezos’s was a CIA kid, meaning his parent was CIA and his parents were therefore in the CIA family.
So Bezos comes to Seattle when Microsoft ruled the Universe and Apple was a hair’s thickness away from bankruptcy. His choice of Seattle was to be near the center of the galaxy (at the time) when it comes to computing. This is where he could find large swarms of nerds easily lured whereas Silicon Valley’s power structure was not as amenable, too many Vulture Capitalists with their hands out.
But note again Bezos was a CIA kid. Being a CIA kid can have great benefits.
After a decade and a half of NO PROFIT, Amazon finally showed a meager quarterly profit in about 2011. This is key because showing a profit acts as a green light for other investment capital to stream in. It doesn’t matter so much that a profit might be $1 or a cent. The word ‘profit’ is all the financial news needs to open the floodgates.
Now I will say something, and people can say I’m crazy. Online Retailing is just a cover for Amazon. The real Amazon purpose was for Amazon to act as a platform for massively parallel computing and AI testing. The retail aspect of it is really a kind of a laboratory and stable to house racehorse compu-whizzes until they passed evaluation for deeper clandestine work, a recruiting funnel of sorts. There was some of this happening on Microsoft’s Redmond campus as well but Microsoft had pissed off Larry Ellison (CIA contractor, CEO of Oracle) because of their steamrolling of Netscape.
When Bezos saw that his meager profit in 2011 was not sustainable, the previous ‘green light’profit was used by CIA honchos to rescue him with billions of dollars of contract funding for ‘Cloud Services’. Bezos was also told to purchase the nearly bankrupt Washington Post which today is for all intents and purposes a propped up CIA asset.
Now, why did CIA go into all this and become a traitor of sorts to Americans? That’s a huge story but the roots start with Bush the Elder, Bill Clinton, and Mena, Arkansas.
For now, it’s enough to know that the Washington Post is part of a proxy war conducted at the top between the Obama-Clinton camps and the NYPD-DOD-Trump camps. NSA/NGA was brought into the Trump fold by Admiral Rogers, THANK GOD!
