GOTG 1 and 2 are two of the most fun movies I have seen lately.

The characters are just fun.

I agree on GOTG 1. Maybe because it was so campy. Also, not having followed the comic books, the sheer snarkiness of it was surprising. It definitely appealed to my love of the Mel Brooks/Douglas Adams genre of Sci-Fi parody.

GOTG 2 was a typical rip-off sequel done for one thing and one thing only: the almighty dollar. And maybe to give them the chops to be included in the big mish-mash “Avengers: Infinity War” movie.

Thinking about these two mega-super-duper fizzles (GOTG2 and Infinity War) reminds me why I am so burned out on Stan Lee and the Marvel movies over the past year or two.
