Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast have signed an open letter supporting fired director James Gunn. Wrote Pratt, who shared the letter on his Instagram account, “Although I don’t support James Gunn’s inappropriate jokes from years ago, he is a good man. I’d personally love to see him reinstated as director of Volume 3. If you please, read the following statement- signed by our entire cast.”

I agree on GOTG 1. Maybe because it was so campy. Also, not having followed the comic books, the sheer snarkiness of it was surprising. It definitely appealed to my love of the Mel Brooks/Douglas Adams genre of Sci-Fi parody.
GOTG 2 was a typical rip-off sequel done for one thing and one thing only: the almighty dollar. And maybe to give them the chops to be included in the big mish-mash “Avengers: Infinity War” movie.
Thinking about these two mega-super-duper fizzles (GOTG2 and Infinity War) reminds me why I am so burned out on Stan Lee and the Marvel movies over the past year or two.
Play by the rules they set.

There once was a guy who kept cracking jokes about poison at weird moments. He’d be with his friends watching baseball and suddenly mention that a teaspoon of antifreeze a day would kill a person in about month. His friends thought that was odd but that he just had an off beat sense of humor. Then his wife got sick and after a month of a mysterious illness she died. After the funeral his friends and his mistress talked about the constant jokes and called the police. It turned out that the man did kill his wife with antifreeze. Sometimes people say more than they mean to when they tell the same joke a hundred times.
This Gunn guy was obsessed with tweeting about sex with kids and he’s buddies with a convicted pedophile. If he was an ordinary person the cops would be interviewing every child in his neighborhood by now.
Chris Pratt is a nice guy. That does not make him spiritually minded, whether or not he is an authentic Christian.
He was a stripper once, and he is an actor now. He lives in a very warped environment. Hollowhead is so far from natural and normal it is almost indescribable.
They support raping children. None of these actors should ever be allowed to work again in Hollywood.
They must be ok with having their children raped by James Gunn and other “artists”.
