If you look at other recent fires the trademarks are always the same, fires burning in a house yet materials that are combustible or should melt are left unscathed and the house vaporizes. the same goes for trees adjacent to the house, they still stand and no mas casa.

No, really strong winds. I did some sampling at a residential lot within the Santa Rosa fire area last year, it is hard to go 100 feet in hard hit areas without seeing loads of truly weird stuff. Wind was blowing hard enough that a house where I sampled was reduced to powder on a concrete slab and close enough to put your palm on the wall was an in law/workshop structure that the paint didn’t even bubble or scorch on.

I looked across the street to the ruins of a stone house which had framing wood going up on the adjacent close lot. I commented that that guy was quick on the rebuilding and the owner said “no, that was at that stage when the fire came through”.

The owner had just bought his place 3 weeks prior, the place had an untended ~5 acres of grapes (vineyard). All the plant/vine parts were hanging on the wire about 4 feet off the ground. The wind had taken fire through the dry, uncut grass in the vineyard so fast that it just burned flat to the ground, and through the bases of the vines at the ground like you’d cut them all off with an oxyacetylene torch or sawzall.

There are innumerable accounts by so many including veteran fire fighters who have never seen fires as selective and specifically shall I say targeted as these. Other have seen light beams or other odd occurrences in the immediate vicinity, or things like cars burning when the house is not

Far too many inconsistencies to look at it from what I have seen from say a lightning strike and the subsequent fire about 200 yards from my home which I witnessed and watched as it spread in the grass and other growth to about 40 acres total. As you may be aware in some of these cases homes are set apart from others while in other neighborhoods the houses are quite close, yet there is still skipping and the other oddities of what burns and what does not that is totally different from previous wildfires we have experienced out here.
