I am not sold that Cohen is a black hat yet. In fact, I still think he’s a White Hat. But I see more and more people thinking he’s now an enemy of Trump.
Donald Trump as a private citizen and as President has commented that Cohen is a “good man”. Cohen was his personal lawyer for many years. He’s actually a nice guy and he’s a great father. Those are facts.
The tapes taken from him do not implicate Trump in anything at all illegal from what is known in public releases.
Tom Arnold, a genuine first-class scumbag, met Cohen at a chance encounter, not planned, and made up a bunch of crap about what Cohen said to him when they were together. The next day when Cohen heard what Arnold said he stated what Arnold said was untrue, all of it.
Prior to the Arnold lie about Cohen, the liar media were whipping up false speculation about how Cohen was ready to turn on Trump, how he was going to spill the beans on Trump, how he knew all the dirt that Trump was involved in.
And before that, Mueller was accusing Cohen of traveling to Prague to meet Guccifer X.X whatever, And the liar media chased that story and found out it was a different Michael Cohen. There are a lot of Michael Cohen’s.
So all I see is Cohen getting maligned left and right. And Q has alluded to Cohen and Flynn deliberately getting themselves in the line of fire of legal trouble so that they could get evidence in their defense and beneficial to Trump admitted into court that otherwise would not be admissible.
There is a lot of disinformation, there is a ‘fog of war’, and Q says it is necessary, meaning the Trump camp is deliberately feeding the liar media and deep state bad info, lies. In war, lying is a tactic used to fool and confuse adversaries. General George Washington was a master liar and deceiver to the British and Hessians. He deliberately put letters containing false information into the hands of known double agents who unknowingly were selected to be used to carry the letters to Washington’s Generals but who allowed the information in the letters to be intercepted. When the adversaries got the letters, they thought they knew Washington’s plans and capabilities and they reacted to that information as if it was true. It wasn’t.
So Cohen to me is still viewed as a good guy who is trolling Mueller’s minions. Whereas Mueller and Rosenstein are dirty because of their longtime associations with progressives well before Trump was on the scene.
If someone has solid information contradicting my view of Cohen, please bring it up.
The other side of the equation is that Mueller and RR are taking out the trash. The outrage against them is planned and theater. It’s setting up the DS and the Dems to believing they will get Trump when in reality they are there to get the DS and the Dims attempted overthrow of a duly elected government.
Cohen never should have recorded anything, it’s illegal.
Flynn is innocent, it’s a ploy to get evidence introduced and the constant delays in sentencing should be a warning flag.

I just can’t think of a better “get” for the DS than somehow hooking Cohen as early as possible, and was throwing that idea on the wall with all the others. The showy raids of his offices and apartment were so legally unnecessary, but did serve as very convincing optics that they (FBI) and Cohen were not supposed to be connected.
Cohen, Popadopolous and the kid who had drinks with the Russian “professor”, all appear to be more hapless than they do proficient. The FBI seems to recognize who can be played, intimidated or indicted.

Hiring Lanny Davis is not a good sign that Cohen is a white hat. He’s a scared rat, because he has apparently been a crook on taxi medallion deals, and he wants to avoid jail time.
Still, even if he has been a crook, it is just wrong that Mueller has gone after him. He was only investigated because he was the President’s personal lawyer. He did not come to law enforcement attention for any other reason. Had he not worked for Trump, he would have lived his life in wealth and happiness and none of the things he supposedly did would have ever come to light. What Mueller and the DS are doing is destroying Trump’s ability to hire anyone who fears that working for him will expose their entire life to scrutiny. It’s wrong, even if Cohen is scum.
