Cboldt is an actual lawyer.
Nuances in law are pretty critical. He says that Manafort WASN’T exonerated. He says that the Feds failed to prosecute.
If Cboldt is right, and he’s seldom wrong, then it leads to a bunch of other questions:
1. Why now?
2. Statute of limitation applies here?
etc.
Bottom line, it will impact the government in the trial in a negative way. Cboldt would know more.

This is so interesting. I posted earlier before the Q message that Judge Napolitano used the term RR “exonerated” Manafort on these same chanrges in 2014. Then approved Mueller bringing them against him now.
I agree with Cbolt that he just didnt proceed with the charges in 2014. So they continued the investigation and they were just waiting perhaps to bring it up again or took the opportunity to use it for the insurance policy against POTUS?
Either way, seems like a big coinkidink to me...
