NYPD has a full copy of what was on the laptop from the first and they were ready to rumble on it but got pulled back with some wrangling with the Alphabet agencies. So even if the laptop is in the AA folks hands now there is a full copy in the right hands that is being held and will be used as needed at the right time
Yep, I’m sure there are multiple copies of that HD sitting in all sorts of secure locations.
