I don’t know that the background is a complete explanation given what we’ve learned about MKUltra etc. - did he arrive at this action independently or was he “helped” / “coached”. Interesting to learn who was his “therapist”.

I think the answer to why Gates won’t testify is that the Mule team can’t risk exposing him to cross examination. As I understood one of the defense tactics, however, they’re going to shove stuff off on Gates as being the one who set things up. If Gates doesn’t testify then it would seem some degree or amount of testimony I’d think can’t stand on its own but I’m not familiar with their evidence of course. It is very puzzling!

Nasim is the poor girl who went into YouTube HQ a few months ago, shot the place up, and killed herself. Stated reason was because YouTube was stifling her video viewers and monetization.
She’s become something of a tragic hero on infinity chan - memed into all sorts of stuff. She will live in infamy.
