-- Which does not explain how RR can sign a FISA warrant and then be accepted as the head of investigations for that possible FISA warrant abuse. --

We don't know that he is even investigating FISA abuse. If he is in cahoots with FISA abuse, he would whitewash - and he does appear to be totally protective of DOJ and FBI wrongdoing.

As for being accepted, was Comey accepted as "in charge" of the Hillary e-mail investigation? He took the lead in the ultimate decision. His deputy ws overseeing who (Strzok) and how that investigation would proceed, all the while planning it as a whitewash.

Just saying, RR can be a skunk, and the institution will allow/accept it. See McCabe too, on his failure to recuse. Grasssley was all over that, for a year, and McCabe never did recuse.

-- Sessions appears to be supportive of RR... --

What else is he going to answer to a loaded question from the press? IIRC, Trump was supportive of Comey for awhile too.

Federal judge rejects request for Trump gag order regarding Wolfe case

https:// www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jul/26/federal-judge-refuses-stop-trump-talking-about-wol/

I had a thought, fleeting as it may be, that maybe some of these judges are finally seeing the light. In order for them to stay on the bench with a paying gig maybe they should do their damn jobs instead of playing politics.

Too much wishful thinking?
