I figured impeachment was a non-starter. The House wouldn't even impeach on the facts of the resolution. The remedy (penalty) didn't fit the conduct.

Charge with shoplifting, threaten life in prison, and suddenly the subject becomes the punishment for the admitted conduct. Charge with shoplifing, threaten with a fine, and the subject is denial of (or some lame excuse for) the charge.

I mean in hindsight it does make a lot of sense. RR can still be handed over to Huber or whoever and he still gets charged.
