Prepare for the media histrionics to ratchet up several notches during the DC recess.

Compromised Republicans were retired early, so that the party could still field a candidate in November. I suspect that now we're going to learn about the resignation of at least as many compromised Democrats, too late to find someone competitive for the upcoming election.

The "Blue Wave" will be heading the opposite direction that Democrats think.

I see something different happening.

The corrupt Republicans were outed and either withdrew from their races or resigned outright. The corrupt Democrats will be kept in place, and their corruption will be unveiled a week before the election for maximum effect.
