"I suffered through 2 seasons of “Better Call Saul” and it went from Ok to mediocre to awful. I skipped the last 2 or 3 episodes of season 2. What would ever possess me to waste my time on continuing with this poorly written tripe? I loved “Breaking Bad”, but “Better Call Saul” sucked."

That's just nutty.

The episode alone, where Jimmy took down Chuck in the hearing, was one of the best episodes of TV I have ever seen.

Breaking Bad had more action per episode. Not just action in the sense of RV chases, but more going on in general. More interesting and original characters.

Better Call Saul had its rewarding moments, but it took a lot of time to set things up. It built more slowly and deliberately to climax with fewer subplots.

Also, the Jimmy-Kim interplay may remind people of the Walter-Skyler dynamic, which for some people was the worst thing about the earlier series - too much like real-life relationships.
