RIMTB, I’m getting a bit uneasy even looking things up through Google in trying to find info on HRC and California covens. I stumbled across a meet up page for SoCal witches and pagans. There are numerous groups and they’re not shy about who they worship.
I’m done with this trail....
The few people I knew were into it - all girls - thought it was a lark but had some crappy stuff happen to them and subsequently put the blame squarely on it.
A guy in my class met and subsequently ran around with some young women at a business school who were pretty heavily into it and he eventually warned anyone who would listen that it was "bad, serious s@#t." Whatever happened to him while he was with that bunch, I remembered thinking he had somehow aged quite a bit... it was like he was a shell of his former self.
