Well said and I agree with you. I too stopped reading earlier when I ran across the really bizarre twisting of scripture. After sleeping on it and thinking more I came to the following conclusions.
Her strange Hivites beliefs does not mean her reporting of sexual abuse is not true.
It does make her an easy target to discredit.
If the sexual abuse started as a young child she could very well have extreme mental illness as a result in the spectrum of cluster b. That can result in behaviors and belief systems out of the norm. I am not a clinician so more qualified can jump in.
If the allegations of sexual abuse and luciferian connections are true, then that could very well leave a person with some very messed up belief systems.
I have no idea if she is telling the truth or not, but with all that is coming to light of the evil in this world....I will keep an open mind.
I lift up each of these that have been abused to Jesus and ask for his peace, mercy and grace to overflow on them.
I join you in your prayer. Thank you
You said it better than I could. I look to the Franklin Cover-up as an indication of the aftermath of abuse. Of two survivors willing to talk about it, 1 was intimidated as a child into silence with threats of a long prison sentence, one ignored the threats and actually was sent to prison for telling the truth for 13 years. The first bears signs of emotional damage that causes others to dismiss him and the second went on to build a successful life and is therefore believed.
