I interpret a “server” to mean a physical (or even virtual) system such as a mail server - it could mean others attached thereto but it’s a logical entity IMO
I agree there are a lot of servers, laptops, cell phones, blackberry’s, hammers ... all kinds of things in this picture.
My guess is many / all are had - though it what form (i.e. actual device vs. image vs. collected data, etc.)
When POTUS refers to “the server”, it’s often in the context of the DNC server i.e. the one Crowdstrike supposedly looked at; but, even then, that would involve other systems, too - i.e. you’d want the networking + security system(s) and other things to go with it/them, too.
Somebody’s got an interesting list to maintain!
I like the idea that someone posted upthread - maybe the server may be more than one server. There’s the one on the ECHO network ES set up in NK, there’s the one(s) they identified in downtown NY HQ for Newsweek (4 am talking points), there’s the DNC server.
If Q says “server” singular - maybe he’s talking to black hats, making them wonder, “Which server? WHICH SERVER!” The black hats know there is more than one (more than I listed?) and the players might be calculating the likelihood it’s other DS servers (bad) but not sure if the one directly implicating them personally (worse).
With all of Hillary’s IT guys getting plea deals and immunity, what it there to show for it? Is it all buried or shredded from Obama-Comey Deep Staters?
