Funny how the first thing liberals ALWAYS think of when chimpanzees and apes are code for “black people.” Makes one wonder who is really stereotyping.

Like when they had some college student who was trying to get some sleep thrown out of school because he called some rowdy partiers outside his window “water buffaloes.” He was accused of racism because the partiers and the school confused water buffaloes which are Asian for wildebeasts or gnus which are African. He wasn’t the one who stereotyped, they stereotyped themselves.

Funny how the first thing liberals ALWAYS think of when seeing chimpanzees and apes, or people costumed as such, is “black people,” as if primates- which we all are regardless of color- are exclusively “code” for African Americans.

Are orangutans code for “gingers” or “the Irish,” or are they “black” even though they’re orange? I really don’t know.
How about a macaque / snow monkey? If you call someone a macaque, are you insulting white, Japanese, or African Americans? I would have guessed you are insulting white people- macaques even like to do white European things such as hang out in hot springs in the winter with snow on their heads. But I can’t be sure, even though macaques are generally white- skinned, how the term will be interpreted by the virtue-signaling code-breakers. Why? Because one of them discovered that in Belgium the word macaca or anything sounding remotely like it is a racial slur against blacks, and therefore anyone in the US who utters the word [even if they aren’t Belgian] must somehow know they are uttering a racist term.

And be wary of words which sound or look racist, like guerilla. Could be taken for gorilla, which every liberal associates with black people for some reason. Another high risk one is niggardly. Just because you know it has nothing to do with race doesn’t mean others do, and if others think it’s racist then you must be a racist.

How about calling someone a squirrel? What code word is that? It could be a racial epithet against blacks in Liechtenstein.

Yet calling a black person a black panther is OK...go figure.

Perhaps before hurling an insult everyone must consult the Bedwetter Codebook of Racial Epithets and Acceptable PC Insult Alternates.
