Director James Gunn has been dropped from Disney’s Marvel franchise “Guardians of the Galaxy” over... a series of old (now deleted) tweets... in which the filmmaker made what he admitted were “offensive” jokes about taboo topics like rape and pedophilia.

Yeah, they have been doing that since 1991 with Beauty and the Beast (The Little Mermaid was closer to Walt Disney’s values to be honest. Heck, if anything, the script for the film we got, barring the Die Hard-esque ending, was actually pretty close to what Walt himself envisioned by sheer coincidence).
