My fathers recipe for “hot dish” - one lb 80/20 ground beef browned on a skillet with a tablespoon of oil, one package of elbow macoroni boiled until done - mix macaroni and ground beef in a large bowl with and add a bottle of ketchup, salt and pepper to taste - my wife won’t touch it but my father and I think it’s pretty tasty!

he didn’t want anything spicier than thatI have trouble with "heat". Mexican food is a nightmare. I think I am just more sensitive to it than other people. Perhaps Kavanaugh is the same. His palatte may overreact to this type of seasoning.
