I remember reading of a drought in Europe that was so dry scientists were able to find the remains of 200,000 abandoned ancient towns.

I’m not surprised. I’m one of those that believes that we do not have a clue about the ancient history of humans. The muzzies destroyed a library in Alexandria around AD 642 that could have shed a lot of light on our ancient history.
